- A hardening treatment is necessary because the glass is sensitive to scratches, but they have a high impact resistance.
- Organic glass is sensitive to solvents.
- It is strongly advised against using unsuitable cleaning products on our organic lenses.
MINERAL
- They are heavy and fragile in case of violent shocks.
- They also have a high surface hardness and are heat resistant.
- Mineral glass is usually prescribed to people who have a manual craft, for its incomparable resistance to scratches.
